Who is behind Donate Pet?
Donate Pet is operated in Switzerland by nDigi. Our contact details, UID / CHE number (currently shown as a registration-pending mock), legal terms and privacy information are all on this page.
Is Donate Pet trustworthy and secure?
Partners are reviewed before they can receive donations. Payment, payout, bank and verification information is handled directly by Stripe; Donate Pet does not hold donor funds or store partner bank details.

What does Donate Pet cost?
There is no setup fee and no monthly fee. When a donation succeeds, Donate Pet charges a 4% platform fee. Stripe also charges its applicable processing and account fees. The Transparent Costs section above works it through on CHF 1000.
What is the 4% platform fee used for?
It contributes to maintaining and improving Donate Pet: the animal and organization pages, platform operations, support and payment integration. It is only charged on successful donations, never before.
Is registration really free?
Yes. Joining, creating organization and animal pages, and using the platform have no setup or monthly charge. Fees apply only if your organization chooses to receive a successful donation: 4% to Donate Pet plus Stripe's applicable fees.
Why use Donate Pet if we already collect donations online?
You do not need to replace anything. Donate Pet is an additional channel: it helps people discover your organization through individual animals, photos and stories, while your existing website, bank details and donation tools can remain in place.
Does Donate Pet replace our website or current donation system?
No. It complements them. You decide what to publish and can continue using every existing donation channel alongside Donate Pet.
How is this different from a simple donation button?
A donation button supports an organization. Donate Pet gives individual animals and their stories a dedicated public place, so supporters can discover who they are helping and choose one-time or monthly support around a specific animal.
Are organizations already using the platform?
Donate Pet is a new Swiss startup, launched with a small invitation-only group of first animal organizations. We are building the first partner community carefully and expect activity to grow as organizations publish and share their pages.
Do donors receive a donation receipt?
Donors receive a payment confirmation. Official charitable donation receipts are not issued automatically yet; donors who need one should contact the receiving organization directly.
Can we see a real organization or animal profile?
Not as a public reference yet. The screenshots above show the intended flow, and the first consented real examples will be added here when available. If useful, book a call and we can show you the current setup flow.
How does the full process work?
You register with your invitation code, create your organization page, add one or more animal profiles, and complete Stripe onboarding before receiving donations. Donations then go directly to your connected Stripe account.
Where do donations go?
Donations are processed by Stripe and paid directly to your organization's connected Stripe account and bank account. Donate Pet does not receive, hold or distribute donor funds.
How much time and ongoing work does it take?
You can start small: one photo, one animal name and a short story are enough for the first page. There is no requirement to keep adding content; Stripe onboarding time depends on the information Stripe needs to verify your organization.
Can someone help us set up the first page?
Yes. You can book a free 20-minute introduction and support call in English, Hungarian or German. We can answer questions or create the first animal page together.
Who is Donate Pet for?
It is for active animal organizations that care for animals and want an additional way to share their stories and receive support. It is not intended for organizations that do not fundraise or do not work directly with animals.
Why is registration by invitation only?
During early access, invitations let us review organizations, provide hands-on support and make sure the platform is useful before opening it more broadly. An invitation does not create any obligation to join.
What if we later do not want to use Donate Pet?
You can ask us to deactivate your platform account at any time. If you have connected Stripe, we can also help you manage the connected account. There is no monthly Donate Pet fee to cancel.
Terms
All donations are processed by
Stripe, our payment partner. Donate Pet does not hold donor funds. Donations are paid directly to the partner's Stripe account. We charge a 4% platform fee. Applicable
Stripe processing and account fees vary and are deducted from the partner's Stripe balance.
Review and verification
Before partners can receive donations, we review their organization. We verify their identity and eligibility to use the platform. Stripe also performs verification during onboarding.
Stripe account
Partners manage payment, payout, bank, and tax information directly through Stripe. Donate Pet does not collect or store banking details and does not access verification data provided to Stripe.
Payouts, refunds, and disputes
Donate Pet deducts a 4% platform fee. Stripe deducts applicable processing and account-service fees from the partner's Stripe balance. New partner accounts use weekly Monday payouts after Stripe's availability delay.
Official receipts and tax status
Partners are responsible for their own nonprofit, charity, and tax status. Any official donation receipts or tax certificates must be issued by the receiving partner where applicable.
Partner account closure
Partners may stop using Donate Pet by contacting us to deactivate their platform account. If they no longer wish to receive donations through Stripe, they should contact us so we can help manage the connected Stripe account.
Privacy Policies
Data we collect
We collect only the minimum data required to operate the service, including your email address, optional profile information, donation history, and partner organization information where relevant. Payment information is processed by Stripe. Donate Pet never stores card details.
How we use data
We use your data to operate your account, support donations, review partners, and provide customer support. Our payment partner uses payment data to process payments and send payment confirmations. We do not sell your personal data or share it with third parties for advertising or marketing.
Cookies
We use only essential cookies for language preferences and session management. We do not use advertising or tracking cookies.
